CENTRAL PARK, NEW YORK, NY
Living so close to Central Park has allowed me to enjoy it’s abundant wildlife. Owls, such as the barred, a great horned, a long-eared, and even a snowy owl made rare appearances during the pandemic—the last time one was seen in New York was 130 years ago, hawks, peregrine falcons (the fastest animal in the world), and a wide range of birds use Central Park as a vital rest stop in their migratory travels.
